Does a queue management system need Internet access?

Understand Internet versus local networking for tickets, calling workstations, SQL Server and television display.

Internet and local network are different
Internet connects the organisation externally. The local network connects kiosk, computers, server and television internally. Tebeasy uses that internal network for normal operation.
What continues during an Internet outage
When power and the internal network work, tickets, doctor calls and television display continue. Failure of the switch, access point or server is a separate incident.
Prepare a reliable network
Use RJ45 where cabling is practical. For wireless, measure coverage and add access points or repeaters only when testing justifies them.
